Star Place Card Holders Is There Anything I Can Use In Place Of Decoupage?

Is there anything I can use in place of decoupage? - star place card holders

I told my friend a letter last month, and oohed and ahhed about color and design are consistent with their daughters kindergarten in line. "I was thinking of taking a piece of paper and placed in a block of wood is one of the cardholder the wire leaving the leading role, as only one square block: http://www.favorsandflowers.com/ frames / s. ..
I think she may be placed in the crib with a baby in her picture or something. I do not want to cut to the paper timber, unless absolutely necessary. I was expecting a proposal from a different path, so they look good. Any help would be great, thanks!

Do not worry ... not long until they are near a "with ModPodge, Royal Coat, or other permanent white glue thinned decoupaged can be used to take!

White tails are "dry" to touch a few hours, depending on temperature and humidity, and take about a week to a "cure-Fund" for totallly are also waterproof as we have (which is very useful when also).
If the person lives in a very wet, then I'll go with the royal coat or polyurethane, because it somewhat less resistant to the turbidity of the water a little later.

If you do not want to cut with white glue, you can use a polyurethane that dries quickly and cures, and few or just one layer of polyurethane for cutting dry.
(Remember, paper is porous and usually cut some ink / etc. You can bleed, so if in any way to anything, determine the water is that the document ... first levels of acrylic spray sealer sealer works well and may ...a good idea to paint the wood white, before the paper only on the colors as vivid as possible to make.)

If you do not want to use a little liquid, you can paste the paper timber (with a bit of glue, perhaps), preferably on a bed of white wood and rolled, then "OK" to the wood with a sheet of transparent self-adhesive laminate (in each business stationery --- comes) in the boxes.
When you leave enough space around the document, is a transparent plastic sheet should stick * * Wood sealed (sealant or paint) ... Otherwise, you have to pull the adhesive foil on the sides or back of the piece of wood on. When cutting, you need not fear that, since the adhesive glue or polyurethane.
